Want to use it to keep everything in one place before handing it over to a day-of coordinator? Perfect. Working with a professional wedding planner but love having every detail organized ahead of time? Even better. You can invite your planner or coordinator to access your planning space, making it easy to collaborate without endless emails, spreadsheets, or binders.

And unlike many other platforms, we’re not in the business of selling your contact information to vendors, filling your screen with upsells, convincing you to buy printed invitations, or taking a commission every time you book a venue, photographer, florist, or another service. Our story

Why We Built This

We're Lloyd and Justin, a couple planning our own wedding.

Like so many couples, we started searching for a wedding website that could bring everything together. We found beautiful designs, helpful tools, and plenty of planning resources. But as we dug deeper, we realized something was missing.

Too many platforms were built around assumptions. The language, templates, and planning tools often followed a traditional script that didn't reflect our relationship or the way we wanted to celebrate. We found ourselves changing labels, working around templates, and trying to make someone else's vision fit our own.

Eventually, we stopped asking, "Which one is the least frustrating?" and started asking, "What would we build if we started from scratch?"

That's how Shared Beginning was born.

We built Shared Beginning around a simple belief: every couple deserves a planning experience that feels like it was made for them. A place where you can personalize your website, tell your story in your own words, celebrate your traditions, include the people who matter most, and decide exactly what you want to share. Whether you're planning a grand celebration, an intimate elopement, or something completely your own, your wedding should reflect you, not a template.
